Teacher Portfolio Rubric - Santa Maria-Bonita Central Coast STEM Institutes (CCSI)
Portfolios showcasing teachers’ work provides a holistic picture of the effect of a project’s professional development on participants. Santa Maria Bonita School District’s CCSI project uses teacher portfolios that include problem solving journals, reading reflections, samples of student work, and lesson study reflections.
After the portfolios were collected Public Works developed the Teacher Portfolio/Journal Rubric to help analyze them. The rubric includes a completion score of the portfolio as well as the four areas listed above and uses scores from a “1” low to “4” high/exemplar” scale.
